Public Historic Conversation About Rebuilding Lower Manhattan after 9/11. Javits Center, NYC
The public is invited to participate in an historic gathering. “Listening to the City” will bring up to 5000 diverse NYC region citizens together to help shape the future of lower Manhattan, including creation of a memorial to honor victims of 9/11. Janet Luongo and others from around the country will facilitate intimate round table discussions while using wireless laptop computers in a 21st Century town hall meeting that combines face-to-face deliberation and interactive technology. It should prove to be an enlightening experience.
